The health and happiness of our employees is crucial to the success of our organization. We cannot have one without the other. By directing our focus towards improving our wellbeing as an organization, we can collectively enrich our lives both personally and professionally. Considering this, we are happy to announce that our new Virgin Pulse (VP) wellbeing platform is here to help us live better every day!

As a reminder, RedBrick joined forces with VP to offer a wellbeing experience that better meets the wants and needs of our entire population. All RedBrick accounts were closed effective 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 30. You will need to create a NEW account to continue (or begin) your participation in the Tacoma Employee Wellness program. The new VP platform offers fun challenges, helpful content, engaging social options, and tools to encourage us to make wellbeing a priority. It goes beyond physical wellness by helping us make healthy, long-lasting behavior changes for more energy, focus and drive. As an added bonus, if you meet the incentive requirements by Sept. 30, 2021, you’ll have the opportunity to save money towards your health insurance premium contribution in 2022.

You should have received a launch email from ‘Tacoma Employee Wellness’ with registration instructions. We encourage you to sign up, get involved, and invite your colleagues to join in with you.  Additionally, there will be a presentation series focusing on the new platform, so please stay tuned for more information from your Wellness Coordinator Shannon Carmody.
